Aspen Film will be bringing the glamour of the 82nd annual Academy Awards to Colorado with "Lights, Camera, Oscars." Devoted to excellence, entertainment and education through the film medium, the nonprofit organization will spend March 7 bringing the industry's biggest night to locals. Running from 5:30 p.m. to the ceremony's conclusion, the event will be held at Aspen's Viceroy Snowmass hotel in the building's Eight K restaurant and lounge.

"Lights, Camera, Oscars" will feature numerous large-screen TVs for the Oscar telecast along with a complimentary buffet, a hosted bar, a VIP room and a silent auction to benefit Aspen Film.

Aspen's favorite on-air personality, Oliver Sharpe, will host the awards, and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden will also be present as a special guest.  Tickets are available at AspenShowTickets.com.

There is also one exclusive VIP Room, $2,500 with seating for 20 guests, left for the Oscar party.  You will be treated like a Hollywood star in the exclusive Eight K VIP Room.  Price includes admission to the event for 20 guests, champagne service to the room, a bevy of movie candy, featured buffet service to the table, two private in-room plasma screens for Awards Ceremony viewing and a special bonus of 20 tickets to the upcoming Aspen Shortsfest!
